A Hinckley crash resulsted in significant damage to Hinckley’s Coffee and Donuts. The accident happened at the corner of Ridge Road and State Route 303 early Thursday morning, June 24th. The Hinckley crash report did not disclose where the accident happened.

According to the Hinckley Fire Department, firefighters said two cars were involved in the accident, but only one of them ended up inside the restaurant. One of the people involved in the crash suffered minor injuries and received treatment in a hospital.

Representatives with the Medina County Building Department responded at the crash scene to assess the structural stability of the building. Motor vehicle accidents are known to result in bodily injuries and property damages. The collision impact often determines the severity of the wound or damage. For instance, in high-impact crashes, a person can suffer severe or catastrophic injuries like broken bones, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, etc.

The crash can also cause a car to get totaled or suffer enough damage to require extensive repairs. In either of these circumstances, the driver responsible for the accident is liable to pay compensation to the victim. If the damage includes personal property, like structure damage, then the at-fault party would pay for the repairs of the building.

To get compensation from a fault party, the victim can file an insurance claim with the driver’s insurance provider. The victim can also get their insurer to cover the losses and recover the money from the fault party later. Finally, should the at-fault party and their insurance carrier refuse to pay, the victim can file a civil lawsuit.
